The sound
Twin Paradox embodies the intersection of raw rock energy, theatrical progressions and hypnotic techno precision. Guitars and drums fuse with synths and machines, unfolding through narrative, dramatic arcs that build and release tension like a live show.
They call the result TechnoRock — a hybrid aesthetic where riffs, distorted textures and rock elements merge with club-driven sound design into physical tracks built for movement and impact.
Tech rider
The setup is self-contained. Two things are needed from the venue:
- Mixer input
- One free stereo channel on the club mixer — RCA or XLR — routed to the PA.
- Table
- 1.40 m of clear table space for the live setup.
- Visuals optional
- We bring our own video visualizers, available on request if the venue has a screen or projector.
The origin
Two musicians who have known each other since childhood, with a shared background in rock, electronic music and academic training. After reuniting in Europe in 2023 they began merging both worlds: the raw energy of live performance and the structured, machine-driven language of electronic sound.
The name Twin Paradox is a nod to Einstein’s thought experiment — relativity, time dilation, space travel. Trippy, cosmic, otherworldly, but never cartoonish.

Twin Paradox is an Argentinian duo based in Geneva, formed in 2023 by Mirko Hrubik and Ezequiel Cappellano. They call their sound TechnoRock — a hybrid where riffs, distorted textures and rock elements merge into club-driven sound design. Their sets are structured like compositions, building and releasing tension like a live show rather than a DJ set.

Formed in Geneva in 2023 by Mirko Hrubik and Ezequiel Cappellano, the duo fuses guitars and drums with synths and machines, unfolding through narrative, dramatic arcs. Both musicians have known each other since childhood, sharing a background rooted in rock, electronic music and academic training — Cappellano holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in contemporary composition from Hochschule der Künste Bern; Hrubik has been producing and DJing since 2017 across Argentina and Europe, and holds a master’s in architectural acoustics from Barcelona. The name is a nod to Einstein’s thought experiment on relativity and time dilation: trippy, cosmic, but never cartoonish.
